ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Driver position will be located commissary kitchen to start and will be responsible for making timely deliveries to other elementary, middle, and/or high school sites, camps, and after school programs. The Driver performs a variety of job responsibilities including safely delivering meals on time according to the schedule provided, helping load/unload, etc. This position will engage with students, teachers and other team members with superior customer service, embodying the Genuine food values
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all food is being delivered on time while maintaining food safety.
Driving carefully and abiding by all traffic laws while following designated routes/schedules.
Load/unload the products out of the delivery van from the prep kitchen to schools.
Keep the van cleaned and sanitized.
Alert Site Lead or Manager on duty of any issues in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be flexible & team-oriented!
Experience and dependable driver with catering or food delivery experience.
Clean driving record (background check will be conducted)
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.
Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs.
