Family-owned outpatient facility is looking for a passionate and committed physical therapist assistant to join our growing company in the Greater Boston area. Our company has 20+ years of experience of providing exceptional patient care and customer service in our communities. With 9 locations we are continuing to grow and expand our company throughout the Greater Boston region. Salary:

● $37-$43 per hour based upon experience

Job Requirements:

● Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

● Current and unencumbered Physical Therapist Assistant License issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

● Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (preferred)

● Basic computer literacy skills

● 1+ year outpatient PT experience (preferred)

● New grads welcome; experienced therapists encouraged to apply.

Job Duties + Responsibilities:

● Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.

● Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.

● Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

● Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.

● Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.

● Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

● Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations and JACHO standards.

● Possess a desire to be part of a team and be willing and able to work with a team of people

● Be passionate about learning and receptive to teaching
