Applicants should have 2-5 years warehouse shipping/receiving experience, including operating a fork truck (certification required following hiring). Candidate must be self-motivated and able to effectively work independently. Candidate must also have excellent attention to detail, a good work ethic, good organization and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for all duties regarding the safe handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory:
Receive materials, confirm against packing slips, deliver to proper location in factory.
Assist freight carriers with inbound and outbound shipments.
Research alternative carriers for shipping cost effectiveness.
Maintain general cleanliness of parts work area, show room and parts warehouse.
Periodic Inventory cycle counts
Qualifications
English (Required).
US work authorization (Required).
High School Diploma or GED.
Proven work record with warehousing, inventory control, order picking and/or shipping operations with 2-5 years solid warehouse shipping/receiving experience.
Must be able to document records, communicate effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others.
Must be able to effectively work independently.
Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
This position will require some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs., heavier weights with assistance).
Must be able to work a 9-hour shift in a fast-paced environment.
