Our client, a world-renowned hospital located in Boston, is seeking a part-time Documentation Specialist. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $25/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!Responsibilities:Maintains the document control management process in accordance with policies, procedures, and work instructions.Responsible for document processing, scanning, filing, tracking, retrieval, control and distribution, data entry, and posting documents into the departments electronic document management systems.Serve as site administrator and add, delete, and modify access to the software as directed.Assist in training on document control systems, processes procedures and document management software.Maintain document control, database management, track activities and team communication.Acts as liaison with the relevant work groups and clinical areas. Develops linkages between these areas. Acts as liaison with other divisions for database content.Responsible for inputting information into computer databases and spreadsheets, monitors data validity and compiles, prints and distributes periodic reports and other information as needed.Evaluates, recommends, and implements changes or upgrades in systems as appropriate and performs other related duties as requested.Qualifications:Ability to effectively coordinate the activities of employees within assigned unit/department.Effectively dealing with conflicting views or issues and mediating fair and workable solutions.Must be proficient in MS Office Professional including but not limited to MS Outlook, MS Word, MS excel, Adobe Acrobat professional, scanning and imaging applications.Must also be proficient in web collaboration systems, and in database applications.Bachelor's degree requiredBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
