I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionJoin Takeda as an Associate Director -Alpha-1 HCP Marketing based out of our Cambridge, MA Office. Where you will be responsible for the management of key marketing initiatives, including sales collateral development, HCP professional education and congress strategy, sales force targeting strategy and territory effectiveness improvements/tools. You will develop and manage tactical execution of Alpha-1 marketing strategies, including ownership of key personal branded and unbranded tactics. You will also be responsible for interfacing with KOL’s and advocacy organization stakeholders. As the Associate Director -Alpha-1 HCP Marketing you will report into Alpha-1 Marketing Director in key initiatives across the Alpha-1 portfolio.How you will contribute:

Drive strategy and execution of HCP initiatives for the Alpha-1 portfolio to increase diagnosis and drive brand awareness and consideration across all channels. Includes partnership with digital lead for HCP strategy and tactical planning and execution

Oversee content development of professional education programs and KOL engagement strategy and management

Lead congress strategy, including cross-functional congress execution/pull-through

Lead the development of HCP marketing collateral across sales channels, inclusive of content creation, creative design, the PRT approval process, and execution

Serve as the primary contact for Territory Business Managers to address field inquiries related to HCP marketing materials and regional/local exhibits

Partner closely with field teams to ensure message pull through, provide support, monitor performance, and uncover opportunities and issues in execution through leadership of sales advisory council meetings

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance sales force effectiveness data, targeting, and lead generation tools

Optimize strategies and tactics based on effectiveness of marketing initiatives, insights, and learnings

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain organizational alignment on key initiatives critical for driving brand performance

Lead insight generation activities such as market research, advisory boards, claims data analysis, field insights

Maintain respective marketing budget and partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting

Contribute to annual strategic planning process

Lead management of sales collateral inventory

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred

7+ years of product management or marketing in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry required

Knowledge of US healthcare system, especially in rare disease required

Rare disease experience preferred

Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills that can translate to formal strategy development and execution pull-through required

Excellent analytical skills and comfortability with leveraging data to make decisions required

Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams required

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead project teams and manage tight timelines

Ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs and assess new information quickly

Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, including leadership briefs

Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment and demonstrated ability to place controls to ensure compliance to guidelines.

Ability to successfully work in cross-functional teams, including internal marketing, sales leadership, communications, legal, patient services and strategy teams

Travel Requirement -20%
