The Shipping / Receiving Supervisor is an integral part of the management of Wellfleet Shellfish. This position is hands on requiring a person to be quick thinking, able to multi-task, able to make critical decisions resulting in achieving deliverables laid forth efficiently, effectively and on point. This position is responsible for assuming overall daily production regarding shipping and receiving and working cohesively with the Operations Manager. The Shipping / Receiving Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and assumes the role of implementing company objectives set forth by the GM to help production operate efficiently and profitably. The candidate will lead by example and train direct reports to operate in their absence to his/her standards with accountability.
Training direct reports and working with processing will be vital to the success of sales in conjunction with overseeing shipping / receiving. This will require proper planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to delegate.
