Manage routes and frequencies based on patient characteristics such as age and gender under the order of a Physician.
Develop treatment plans grounded in scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines as directed by a Physician.
Counsel patients about drug regimens and potential side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies.
Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks as directed by a Physician.
Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to individual circumstances.
Qualifications:Active LPN License - State of Massachusetts Experience working in the human/social services field preferredWork Environment:Day program setting assisting adults with learning disabilities and helping them get accustomed to daily living.
