Job Title: Journeyman ElectricianJob DescriptionCandidates will be assigned to factory zero. They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on facility equipment. They will need to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, then make necessary repairs. Candidates will work on rooftops and within the facility, climbing ladders and using lifts. The position offers M-F 40 hours a week with the following shift openings: 1st shift 6a-2:30p, 2nd shift 2p-10:30p, and 3rd shift 10p-6:30a. Would need to be flexible for all shifts.Responsibilities
Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
Inspect assigned areas on a routine basis and perform maintenance to keep the facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing defective washers, mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
Report any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective action as appropriate.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
Journeyman Electrician experience (must be card-carrying).
Troubleshooting, installations, and making repairs.
Programming PLCs, VFDs, and other controls hardware.
Using specialized tools and instruments to troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment.
Working knowledge of NEC code and NFPA 70E, including interpretation and implementation.
Troubleshooting control systems throughout the plant and making necessary repairs.
Journeyman Electrician State Certification and successful completion of a formal four-year apprenticeship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Troubleshooting electrical systems.
Reading schematics and blueprints.
Installation of electrical wiring and conduit in industrial settings.
