Detroit-Based construction firm looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to bid / negotiate / close and manage insurance restoration projects throughout South Eastern Michigan. Experience in insurance restoration and / or detailed trade estimating a must.
Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
act as a company representative to clients and insurance companies
establish / maintain relationships with competitive vendors
conduct site visits, take field measurements and photos, & prepare detailed "insurance format" estimates and proposals
meet bid and proposal deadlines
follow up with clients on submitted proposals and close deals
negotiate subcontracts and set up projects
Manage projects through completion with regard to cost efficiency, quality, schedule and client satisfaction
This individual will initially work with and report directly to the President
