Activities include assisting with conducting experiments; entering, managing, compiling data; assisting with compiling test results and preparing information for reports and publications; supervising and training student workers; assisting in maintenance of equipment; and ordering supplies.Position is for 1 year from the start date with possible extension based on funding availability.Unit Specific Education/Experience/SkillsKnowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in entomology, genetics, or related field; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in standard laboratory procedures and safety requirements and performing analytical and research techniques in an area related to research being performed; may require learning to use software specific to the area of research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired QualificationsHighly motivated recent M.S. graduate in entomology, genetics, or related field.
