Job Title: Quality EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a leading Material Handling Organization as a Quality Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to travel extensively (75%) to customer sites, identifying and resolving quality issues through detailed root cause analysis. You will conduct site visits to independently manage root cause analysis sessions, spearhead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and effectively communicate findings across the organization. Your role will be crucial in representing customer interests and ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our strategic and operational plans. You will also be responsible for calling meetings with stakeholders to understand and rectify issues, and meeting with operators to delve deeper into potential causes based on operational documentation.
Standard hours are 8am-5pm EST
Need to be close to a major airport
Weekend travel will be limited unless there is an emergency
Must Have Qualifications
Proficiency in RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
Technical report writing
Advanced capabilities in MS Office Suite and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, need to be able to interact with customers
Ability to travel to customer sites up to 75%

Work EnvironmentYou will be grouped by business unit and geographic location, reporting to one of two quality managers. Your role will frequently engage with key stakeholders, including engineering - R&D, Project Engineering, and the manufacturing team if there is a manufacturing defect. Travel expenses such as hotel, flight, and car will be covered via the expense system, and you will receive a per diem of $55 per day, which may increase depending on the city location.
