Job description:
My name is Jon I am a 41-year-old disabled individual with cerebral palsy. I use a power wheelchair for mobility. I am looking for an individual to assist me regarding Morning hours getting me out for the day, using the restroom, helping me get my medication. No more than an hour and a half per visit would ever be required. Must be able to lift. These are the only hours available now. These hours are only to assist me. I look forward to hearing from you. Must be laid-back and outgoing. You are coming to my home. My employees become my friends as well. I already have a full-time caregiver this is just to give her a few mornings off during the week. This is not the job if you need full-time employment. Just a reminder you will be helping me with toileting.
Important
This position would be for morning hours only. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. You will need to register in the state’s home help system called champs. A background check is required. Payment would be at the beginning of the following month after the hours were completed. (Not my rule but the state of Michigan.) Reminder, this is only for 4 mornings a week!
