Job Title: Distribution EngineerJob DescriptionOur client is seeking entry level Distribution Engineers. Selected individuals will perform their own fieldwork and have the ability to work fully remote for the remainder of the time. The work involves connecting new homes and commercial businesses to the energy grid or upgrading existing connections. This individual will start by visiting assigned worksites to take notes, pictures, and measurements, which will be used to create electrical drawings and analyses. Responsibilities include structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop and flicker, coordination of protective devices, and creating a BOM through SAP software. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, design, and electrical analysis to prepare comprehensive electrical work packages for utility company field installation teams.Hard Skills
