And much more…Position Summary:Monitors and manages patients care to promote continuity of care, optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance. Reports to Clinical DirectorFLSA: ExemptESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Works with internal and external resources to plan, set up and coordinate oncology patient treatment plan
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services for oncology patients
Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to oncology patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies, and procedures
Designs, evaluates, and recommends program and policy development
Develops and maintains relationships with community referral resources as neededMinimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Associate's degree in Nursing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Licenses:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of MichiganCertifications:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Oncology Nursing Certification within 5 years of taking the positionMinimum Work Experience
5 years nursing experience required
