Job Title: 3rd Shift Engine Development TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a 3rd Shift Engine Development Technician, where you will work closely with Engineers in our state-of-the-art Propulsion Labs. This role involves calibration development, conducting mechanical experiments, fabrication, and running manual test points to bring engines to 60% calibration before sending them to Engine Validation for further testing and failure analysis. You will engage in mechanical swapping of engine components, collaborating directly with engineers to test various combinations for optimum performance. The role includes working at the component level on parts such as oil pumps, head or cam changes, fuel injectors, and spark plugs, among others. You will also be responsible for assembly, modification, and fabrication of existing engines to prepare them for testing, fabricating components on engine and test stand/dynos, and TIG welding parts and components.Skill Requirements
