Description Job SummaryThe Sr. Financial Analyst role supports financial decision-making by analyzing business performance and providing insights to optimize financial outcomes. This position is responsible for financial intelligence, strategic decision-making support, and driving continuous improvement in financial performance and operational efficiency. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication of complex financial information are essential for the company's success. Confidentiality and adherence to strict ethical standards are paramount.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP& A): Assist in preparing, analyzing, and monitoring the company's financial plans and budgets. Collaborate with various departments to develop annual operating budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide explanations for significant fluctuations or variances.Cost Analysis: Assess production costs, overhead expenses, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency gains.Performance Metrics Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to manufacturing operations. Analyze trends and provide insights into operational performance.Capital Expenditure Evaluation: Conduct investment analyses, including net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback period calculations, to support investment decisions.Forecasting and Scenario Analysis: Use forecasting techniques and scenario analysis to anticipate future financial performance under different market conditions or business scenarios.Business Partnering: Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to provide financial insights and analysis that support decision-making and drive business performance.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years of experience working with a global manufacturer, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

Prior standard cost accounting experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills, quantitative proficiency, and advanced Excel skills.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.

Business acumen and teamwork capabilities.

Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or FRM are advantageous.
