Job Title: Test TechnicianJob DescriptionResponsibilities: In this position, you will get to: Conduct Technical Products performance tests on parts and products as requested in an accurate and timely manner. Work with the requestor to modify and expand test plans and procedures. Generate written reports of test results in an accurate, concise manner, drawing sound conclusions and observations. Set up and operate lab equipment and contribute to the organization and layout of the lab for increased efficiency. Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and make accurate prototype parts, assemblies and products as requested. Design and build equipment and fixtures to conduct testing. Assist in maintaining the calibration of the lab equipment. Work with agency representatives/inspectors to help facilitate lab and manufacturing inspections and work with the Standards Engineer to resolve any findings. Coordinate and manage off-site testing. Support and participate new product development Lean activities (i.e. DFMEA-Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Design Reviews, 3P Conceptual Design event). Assist engineers with design and development of test machinery and equipment as required. Provide testing and engineering support for Engineered Solution and Value Engineering projects.Hard Skills
