Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Shopify Developer in the retail industry. This role centers on enhancing our ecommerce operations through robust development and maintenance of our Shopify platform, as well as handling API development, Microsoft SQL and Python.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Shopify themes to support our rapidly growing ecommerce channel Build digital experiences to advance our ecommerce business Handle API development tasks to ensure smooth data exchange between systems Utilize Microsoft SQL for database management and operations Develop and maintain applications using Python programming language Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our ecommerce platform remains competitive Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact customer experience Maintain accurate documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and project details.Requirements Proven experience as a Software Developer in the retail industry Proficiency in Python programming language Demonstrable experience with API development Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify Expertise in Microsoft SQL for managing and manipulating databases Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
