Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Maplewood, Minnesota. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close. This role is integral to maintaining our financial records and ensuring our transactions are accurately recorded.Responsibilities: Oversee accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely and accurate payment processes. Manage weekly in-house payroll, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time. Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, and resolve any discrepancies. Handle job costing to allocate costs to specific jobs or projects. Manage the annual audits of the Workers Compensation and Liability insurance. Handle construction draws, or the disbursement of funds to contractors in a construction project. Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and in compliance with all regulations. Prepare year-end financials and submit to CPA for tax purposes. Oversee the issuance of Year End W2’s and 1099’s. Maintain office supplies and equipment to ensure smooth office operations. Perform other general office duties and tasks as assigned.
