About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Planner who is relationship-driven, collaborative, and passionate about helping clients achieve financial peace of mind. In this role, you will support and lead planning engagements, work closely with our advisory team, and help onboard both new clients and service long-standing clients.
This is an excellent position for someone who loves client interaction, enjoys solving complex planning problems, and wants to grow within a values-driven, financial planning focused firm.
What You’ll Do
1. Work with Financial Planners to gain an understanding of the client's background and objectives.
2. Present plans and various analyses to clients and act as the point person on all planning questions and analyses.
3. Input client information into various web-based software (financial planning, tax planning, Social Security planning).
4. Perform various financial analyses and reviews
5. Create financial plans to be presented at meetings, update financial plans as necessary, and answer all planning questions for clients.
6. Create and modify PowerPoint presentations to highlight financial plan data for client meetings.
7. Review and modify systems to enhance the financial planning experience.
8. Review financial technology to improve services and financial planning processes.
9. Put together PowerPoint decks and write articles on financial technology and how we use it.
11. Create and send client communications on financial planning topics.
13. Special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in financial planning, wealth management, or advisory/planning support
Credentials: CFP® or EA or RICP strongly preferred (or actively pursuing)
Licensing: Series 65 required (or ability to obtain)
Skills:
o Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, eMoney, Redtail, Holistiplan experience preferred
o Strong communication and relationship-building
o Ability to simplify complex concepts
o High attention to detail and follow-through
o Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based environment
