Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to contribute to our Higher Education sector located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will revolve around interacting with customers and supporting their needs. You will be required to conduct outbound calls, answer inbound calls, and maintain customer records efficiently.Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to leads, prospects, and applicants. Support various call campaign efforts based on organizational needs. Assess the requirements of the prospects to ensure seamless transfer to the appropriate team. Effectively answer and communicate via phone to provide a friendly and welcoming impression for inbound callers. Evaluate the needs of the caller to ensure efficient transfer to the appropriate individual or team. Provide support to prospects, applicants, and learners as required. Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. Balance a variety of workflow tasks throughout the day. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field Proven customer service experience, preferably in the higher education sector Proficiency in using Alpha 8,001 - 10,000 kph Proficiency in using Numeric 8,001 - 10,000 KPH Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of higher education systems and procedures would be advantageous Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
