Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and plating techniques.

- Create innovative and seasonally inspired menus that reflect the restaurant's commitment to high-quality ingredients and culinary excellence.

- Collaborate with the executive chef to ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met.

- Train, motivate, and mentor the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

- Manage food inventory, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.

- Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.

- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas.

- Stay updated on culinary trends and innovations, bringing new ideas and techniques to the kitchen.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a sous Chef de Cuisine or in a similar leadership role within a high-end, fine dining restaurant.

- Strong culinary skills, with expertise in creating refined, sophisticated, and visually stunning dishes.

- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and global cuisines.

- Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire, train, and develop kitchen staff.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Strong understanding of food cost management, portion control, and inventory management.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.

- Passion for creativity and innovation in the culinary arts, staying ahead of industry trends.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
