Your Auto Works Automotive Service Center is a leading automotive service center dedicated to providing top-notch service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Department Specialist.
Job Description:
The Parts Department Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring our shop runs smoothly. You will be responsible for:
Receiving: Accurately receiving and processing incoming parts shipments, verifying quantities and condition.
Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of parts inventory using our [Inventory System Name], including tracking cores and warranties.
Organization: Organizing the parts department to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of parts, minimizing delays for technicians.
Core and Warranty Processing: Managing core returns and warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
Customer Service: Assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries and orders, providing knowledgeable and friendly service.
Qualifications:
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in record-keeping and inventory management.
Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with technicians, customers, and vendors.
Computer Skills: Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive parts and their applications is a plus.
