This Driver position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the senior residents at Oak Meadows in Oakdale, MN. This Driver schedule includes;

10 hours every two weeks ; part time

Tuesday and Wednesdays - 2 hours per day ; Saturdays - 1 hour

Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period.

Organizes work assignments.

Modifies schedule to accommodate the need of passengers.

Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle.

Communicates with supervisor about needed equipment and supplies.

Provides supervisor with adequate notification of schedule difficulties.

Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations.

Functions effectively with limited direct supervision.

Is responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers.

Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services.

Knows and practices infection control procedures. · Knows and practices fire and disaster procedures.

Knows and practices safety procedures.

Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents.

Responds appropriately to emergency situations.

Displays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights.

Provides assistance to all participants and residents, as needed.

Required

High school diploma/GED

Current driver's license in good standing

Must be insurable under the employers auto Insurance Coverage

Preferred

one to three years of experience
