Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The individual will be integral in handling cash disbursements, ensuring accuracy in financial reconciliation, and managing service fee billing processes. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of our finance department.Responsibilities: Carry out daily reconciliation of cash disbursement to various stakeholders to ensure accuracy Investigate and collaborate with the tech team, lenders, retailers, and the accounting department to rectify any differences in disbursements Undertake period accounting close processes including making journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze revenue, operating expenses, and selling, general and administrative expenses (SGA) for accurate accounting of company's financial performance Work with business partners on financial analysis and departmental budgets/forecasts Execute the monthly service fee billing process to meet retailer and corporate accounting expectations Maintain the billing spreadsheet and identify areas of improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Conduct reporting and data analytics tasks as assigned by the Manager Utilize tools such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, and Power Query to execute tasks.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections Experience in Commercial Collections is a must Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Query Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
