Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This role is based in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be overseeing a small team and be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations.Responsibilities: Monitor and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition Supervise the finance team and manage their workload and development Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for data management Oversee customer credit applications and maintain accurate records Handle customer inquiries and manage customer accounts Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents and procedures Utilize QuickBooks for managing journal entries and reconciling bank records Assist in hiring and training new members of the finance team Oversee and manage all general ledger activityRequirements Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Demonstrated experience in managing all Accounting Functions Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Auditing skills are required Experience in managing Billing Functions Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with construction or contractor industry is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
