It all begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Foundational Hosting Environments (FHE) team to provide subject matter expertise and support to the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) function of Engineering.This role will work within a team of DCIM Infrastructure Engineers to maintain / enhance existing toolsets and assess / deliver new tools based on business need. This engineer works alongside DCIM peers and Principal Engineers to define standards and provide consistent processes for operational success, while working cross-functionally to create efficiency and enable new capabilities for our consumers.In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications

Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure

Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals

Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future

Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors

Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices

Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements

Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success

Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Interact with customer and vendors

Partner with partners, systems architects, and application support engineers to develop functional data center tooling strategies and roadmaps.

Required Qualifications, US:

5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to develop highly collaborative relationships both internally and externally.

Working knowledge of Data Center operations.

Working knowledge of Data Center workflow and DCIM tools including ServiceNow, Nlyte, BMS, EPMS, CFD modeling, and asset/inventory management systems.

Knowledge of application Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to develop highly collaborative relationships both with internal leadership and external vendors.

Working knowledge of Data Center operations.

Experience with project management and milestone management.

Experience with budgeting, contracting, purchasing practices, and policy and procedure development.

Experienced communicator with the ability to communicate engineering ideas and concepts to seniors.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and work as part of a decentralized, geographically dispersed organization.

Experience with project management and milestone management.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
