Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in St Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within the finance sector, focusing on financial analysis, project revenue forecasting, and customer invoice management. This is a role that requires strong business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and an ability to handle multiple projects.Responsibilities: Support the monthly forecasting process in collaboration with the CFO, providing a comprehensive view of project revenue and margin. Regularly monitor and assist in the customer invoice approval process to ensure timely receivables. Maintain accurate project records in the general ledger for monthly revenue recognition and cost of sales. Provide financial support for financial reporting and analysis. Assist in the testing and approval of system reports required for management, financial reporting, and general ledger reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely sub-period, monthly, and year-end close, and assist in the completion of assigned year-end audit engagement schedules. Maintain process and procedure documentation for finance to ensure streamlined operations and internal controls. Use a range of business systems and tools, such as Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, and data mining techniques, to achieve objectives. Take on additional responsibilities related to accounting functions, auditing, budget processes, and capital management as needed. Requirements Applicant must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a financial analysis role. Proficiency in business systems is required. Strong familiarity and working knowledge of Confluence is expected. Experience with CRM is essential. Knowledge of data mining techniques is necessary. Prior usage of About Time software would be beneficial. Proficiency in various accounting functions is expected. Experience with auditing processes is required. Familiarity with budget processes is necessary.
