Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Jackson, Michigan, offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role will involve managing various financial tasks, including customer credit processing, maintaining records and resolving inquiries. Responsibilities: Handle the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner Maintain precise records of customer credit Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Ensure proficiency with pivot tables for effective data management Apply skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to handle financial transactions and reporting Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial management standards Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the field of Accounts Receivable Contribute to team efforts and organizational financial goals.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills for maintaining clear, concise AR records Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues High level of integrity and dependability Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
