Description:Job Overview: As a representative, you will assist patients on the phone, helping them to resolve their Self-Pay balances by establishing payment plans, updating insurance coverage, and providing customer support as a member of our client’s business office. Job Duties: Helping patients understand financial responsibility in a helpful and non-threatening manner. Taking inbound and making outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances. Meeting or exceeding established metric goals. Following established procedures to resolve patient account balances: Identifying consumer payment plans Utilizing call scripts provided Setting up consumer payments over the phone Documenting all conversations electronically on company and/or client systems Assisting patients in determining eligibility for financial assistance programs and/or bank loans when applicable Providing information to Client Services as neededSkills:Health care, customer service, ms suite, patient service, Prior authorization, Coordination of benefits, epic, cerner, accounts receivable, administrative skills, collection, benefit verificationTop Skills Details:Health care,customer service,ms suite,patient serviceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Customer service is the number one qualification. Call center experience is desired, but they have had success with retail people as well. - Must be comfortable with technology/computers. They work in multiple systems on dual monitors, so they must be able to type/talk/listen/navigate all at once. - EPIC experience is definitely a plus This position will be measured on 3 basic things: - Schedule adherence/attendance - Quality (QA scores) - Calls per hours Their ability to work from home after 3 months will be dependent on those 3 measurements. They will also make an additional $1-3/hr based on those scores. The scores they are striving for is 80% schedule adherence, 90% QA scores, and 5 calls per hours.
