Job Title: Veterinary TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our small, family-owned animal clinic. In this role, you will provide essential care for animals by determining their requirements, assisting the veterinarian with examinations and diagnostic procedures, and supporting during operations. You will also be responsible for feeding, caring, and cleaning animals, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.Responsibilities
Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and interviews.
Assist the veterinarian during examinations and diagnostic procedures.
Support surgical procedures by preparing the surgery table and instruments.
Feed and care for animals, ensuring their well-being.
Maintain records and document animal health and treatments.
Complete laboratory tests, studies, and diagnostic imaging.
Take vital signs and collect samples.
Administer medications, drugs, and vaccines.
Bandage and wrap wounds.
Place catheters and obtain blood gases as needed.
Maintain sterile conditions and ensure operating areas are sanitized.
Clean animal cages and equipment.
Enhance service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Work EnvironmentThe clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
