The hiring process takes as little as 2 days and requires passing a drug screen and physical prior to obtaining a position. The company has a drug-free policy for this safety sensitive position
· Starting pay from $18 - $25 per hour based on experience, skills, and abilities. Overtime pays after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly plus 8 paid holidays annually.
· We offer on the job training; all skill types are welcome. No prior experience is required, however experience in construction and/or concrete work is a plus.

We have two plant facilities. You are required to have the flexibility to work at either.

Position Description: Production Laborer
Perform a variety of general construction labor to produce precast concrete panels. Production Laborer may be assigned to any production department (production crew, wood shop, steel shop, or loading crew) based upon skill sets of employee and company needs and will be expected to carry out the duties associated with those departments. Currently, the company is targeting laborers specifically for our production crews.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Operating hand-held equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
· Assist in form cleaning, set-up, and preparation.
· Assist in pouring and finishing of concrete or other departmental tasks to meet schedule requirements.
· Must follow all safety practices and policies.
Job Requirements and Preferences:
· Previous precast concrete manufacturing plant or concrete work experience is desirable
· Able to read and write fluently in English preferred.
· Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
· Able to follow directions and communicate in a civil manner with others.
· Comfortable with use of hand tools and power tools.
· Should be able to read a tape measure in feet, inches, and fractions of an inch.
· Proficiency of skills and abilities may lead to advancement to skilled, leadman, or foreman positions.
Working Conditions:
The performance of this position requires exposure to an outdoor manufacturing environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses and hearing protection with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Physical requirements:
This position may require the need to stand for long periods. The position will require the employee to climb up and down stairs and ladders on an intermittent basis as well as working in the outside production environment throughout the day on uneven ground and on elevated surfaces. The employee may reach above shoulder height or below the waist or lift as required. Lifting 20 lbs. throughout the day and occasionally 100 lbs. Constant moving, bending, and reaching is required to the perform duties for this position. Must be able to respond to visual and audio safety warning devices and instructions from others.
Expected Hours of Work:
Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but may vary according to production schedule or season. Occasional early, evening, or Saturday work maybe required as well as overtime.
Personal Situation:
Must be able to commute to both the Springfield and/or Ozark plants reliably for work. Must be able to work extended hours when required per workload.
