Then apply!The Polson Library is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, highly dependable individual to grow the Library's youth services and programs. This individual coordinates and manages the children and teen collections, programming and activities. They also provide general library services for young library patrons, including special events such as the Summer Reading Program, holiday programs, and outreach that enhance the lives of and promote reading to young patrons.DESIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
A background in education, early childhood services and/or library experience
A bachelor's degree or higher level degree
Enjoy interacting with children of all ages from infants to teens
Children's literature knowledge and/or education
Event planning experience
Reliability with regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Ability to work on your feet, walking, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Some flexibility in scheduling when necessary
