Maybe Saturday and/or Sunday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, if approved and scheduled.b) Week 2: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm + Mandatory Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. On this week, mandatory Sunday will be paid double if the worker has worked at least 50 hours that week.Shift: No, we do not have different shifts. No rotating shifts.Can they work extra days? With Approval, paid at normal rate.How often can they expect to work extra days? 2 daysPayment Days: ThursdayPayment Type: Direct Deposit.Rest Breaks: One Hour Lunch, not paid for. Duties Include:Provide care for all incoming cattle, processed cattle, sick cattle, and sale cattleAll incoming, processed, sick, and sale cattle updated within the Computer SystemPerform vaccinations, identification for cattle on incoming loadsCheck all incoming cattle for health status, appropriate paperwork, headcount, etc.Load cattle for sale and unload arriving cattleAll cattle will be sorted and moved according to home pen weight statusCoordinate sorts and movement with the office/feed crewCommunicate with Consulting Veterinarian on standard treatments, cattle health and processing regimensEnsure adequate animal health product inventory for doctoring, processing, and keepmonthly inventoryAnalyze trends in sickness/treatments and look for possible causes to prevent future issuesEnsure medical clearance and withdrawal times on all cattle being shippedMake sure the barn for the sick area is cleaned daily for sanitation purposesPerform regular maintenance of fences, waterers, and feeders to keep the facilities neat and orderlyProvide ideas for new and innovative ways to provide care for the cattle
