Job Title: Service TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical petroleum equipment and products (i.e., Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, EVO).Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, perform repairs, and preventative maintenance on gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy of parts inventory.
Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide necessary repairs.
Install, program, and test new equipment.
Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in understandable terms.
Present oneself professionally and be prompt when making service calls.
Essential Skills
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or electronic installation experience, or industrial electrical/electrician experience, or military maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of experience as a petroleum service technician.
Certification in Gilbarco or dispenser service is preferred.
Backgrounds in military fuel systems, electronic experience such as Spectrum, electrical, or maintenance techs willing to work outdoors.
