The Availity Essentials portal serves as Humana's secure portal that enables streamlined and efficient functionality for our providers.This is a critical role that supports our interoperability strategy and requires strategic leadership across the Enterprise. The Director, Product Management leads the existing internal Availity team (7 direct reports) and will report to the AVP, Product Management. This is a critical role that supports the interoperability strategy and requires strategic leadership across the Enterprise.

Leads 7 direct reports

Drives strategy for the enterprise

Drives accountability with Availity and internal customers in support of key priorities and initiatives

Monitors efficiency of capabilities and solutions and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure capabilities are meeting customer needs across the enterprise to achieve the desired outcomes

Makes decisions typically related to the implementation of new/updated capabilities or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance

Influences and drives results while maintaining strong partnerships at various levels including directors, AVPs, VPs

Executes an operating model and governance committee

Maintains oversight of the 1B+ transactions received on an annual basis

5+ years of leadership and/or management experience

5+ years healthcare experience

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle from conception to delivery

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
