Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of various events, including conferences, festivals, corporate functions, weddings, and more. As a key part of the event experience, Event Staff ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly and guests receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, signage, and equipment
2. Greet and direct guests upon arrival
3. Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization
4. Provide information and assistance to attendees as needed
5. Serve food and beverages (if applicable)
6. Support with registration and check-in processes
7. Maintain event flow and follow the timeline provided by event organizers
8. Assist vendors, performers, and speakers as required
9. Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally
10. Help with post-event cleanup and breakdown
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or event support is a plus
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
4. Punctual and dependable
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
6. Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.
7. Ability to pass background check
8. Customer Service for guests to include VIP Guests or High Profile Guests
Dress Code:
1. Black slacks
2. White button up shirt (must be ironed; no marks or stains)
3. Black blazer or suit jacket; during the summer – it may change to a black vest.
4. No rolled-up sleeves
5. Comfortable nice solid black shoes – no sneakers
6. No face piercings or face tattoos
