C1 Staffing is hiring dependable and skilled Cooks to join our Catering and Events Team in Las Vegas! This is an exciting opportunity for kitchen professionals who enjoy working in dynamic, fast-paced environments where no two days are the same.
Position Summary:
As part of our catering team, you will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods — including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to recipes and quality standards
Maintain portion control, food safety, and sanitation procedures
Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
Ensure that food is prepared and served on time for events
Work effectively with kitchen staff and event managers to support client satisfaction
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils at the end of each shift
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cook or food prep worker preferred
Understanding of food handling and sanitation standards
Reliable transportation and ability to report to event locations on time
Flexible availability — weekends, holidays, and event hours required
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
