Position: Highly experienced real estate or banking testifying expert or lawyer (Part Time Independent Contractor)
Nationally recognized testifying-expert in the banking and real estate industries seeks a retired lawyer/expert witness, with deep expertise in real estate and/or banking. We have built a dynamic team of seasoned professionals that provide high-impact support in expert witness engagements. If you have a track record in resolving complex real estate disputes, navigating banking litigation, and/or due diligence relating to litigation, please respond.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in document review and analysis relating to real estate partnership disputes, troubled developments, lender liability claims, breaches of fiduciary duty, loan underwriting missteps, and flawed loan administration practices, among other subject matter.
Provide expert insights on banking case litigation, such as loan defaults, breaches of regulatory compliance requirements, fraud investigations, violations of the Bank Secrecy Act, and shareholder litigation.
Submit to expert witness testimony at depositions or trial.
Collaborate on case preparation, report drafting, deposition prep, and litigation strategy.
Qualifications:
Retired or semi retired attorney with proven experience in real estate and banking (anywhere in USA).
Proven ability to produce clear, defensible written reports suitable for legal proceedings.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with expert witness protocols.
Excellent communication skills for both written and oral testimony.
Availability for flexible, project-based work. (remote prefered )
