Data Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Reno, Nevada. This role is situated within a fast-paced industry where you will be part of a dynamic team. As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will revolve around order processing and data management using various platforms.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer orders across different platforms. Conduct thorough research to address any issues related to the orders. Maintain an organized record of customer orders and related data. Send out shipping notices as part of order management. Import data from the ERP system for order entry. Apply strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data entry. Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with the EDI team to support order entry to the ERP systems. Utilize Microsoft-based tools such as True Commerce, Sage, Excel, and Gmail for email correspondence. Requirements Proficiency in data entry is required Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain high level of accuracy Familiarity with office software and data programs Typing speed and accuracy Understanding of data confidentiality principles High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar position will be considered an advantage Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation Good command of English both oral and written Ability to work under pressure Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
