Job Description:
Need an outgoing, organized individual for an upscale home consignment furnishings store in downtown Truckee. Hours will include weekends.
Requirements:
Knowledge and passion about furnishings and home decor
Some home decorating experience, or talent, a plus
Some understanding of POS systems and transacting sales (will train)
Previous retail sales or experience a plus
Reliability is essential
Duties
Greeting and helping customers with questions regarding furnishings and decor items
Become knowledgeable about inventory
Process sales transactions through POS system
Scheduling deliveries and pick ups
Check-in consignment items into system as required
Other daily responsibilities also include: Maintaining a clean work environment, organizing and merchandising furnishings
Should be able to lift 35 lbs.
