This position will be located at the Lovelock Correctional Center. The incumbent will receive on the job training in various personnel related services, programs, policies, procedures, laws, statutes, codes and administrative regulations. The range of entry-level professional duties and responsibilities will encompass: Recruitment and selection functions, sufficient to staff the assigned correctional institution; participation in outreach talent acquisition activities; evaluating applications for minimum qualifications and completeness; participating in physical fitness examination process; processing and logging requests for salary adjustments; accelerated rates of hire; and providing technical assistance to the rural area correctional facilities, as needed.
