Line Leader

As a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the line (defined as total production line) on a 24 hour / 7 day a week basis through the continuous shift operation to maximize production performance within established safety, quality and cost parameters. A particular emphasis of the role is to facilitate a team culture across all functional and cross functional disciplines for the specific line.The Line Leader will:Serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are metAnalyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and qualityDrive to key performance goals for production linesWork with various departments on short term and long term projectsThe Line Leader should have:Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team membersA desire to be on the production floorStrong desire and drive to learn new systems and processesStrong verbal and written communication skillsSignificant understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts that use Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events.Proficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysis
