Store Manager – Flatiron, New York

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:Leadership​Motivate and inspire the team through the articulation of a compelling vision for the store, reflecting and maximizing the power of the Salomon brand​Manage all aspects of the store balanced scorecard [people, operations, finance and customer] to deliver consistently high performing results​Customer Service​Ensure that the team understand the customer needs and profile so they are able to deliver consistently high-quality service​Present and visible on the shop floor, interacting productively with customers and team members​Operations​Effectively manage the store inventory levels ensuring the market and customer needs are met ​Deliver operational best practice through partnership with the District Manager​Oversee activity, adhering to building safety &, health and safety standards and inspections; maintaining a safe and secure environment for the team and customers​Manage the staff scheduling ensuring appropriate staff cover​Ensure the company’s policies are understood and adopted by all team members​Sales and Finance​Manages the payroll to achieve the budgeted level of payroll spend and the in-store customer service experience​Monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company’s inventory and assets​Analysis of sales trends to ensure optimal product selection and maximisation of sales​Deliver the P&L and retail KPI’s in line with budget and forecast​Recruitment, Training and Education​Effectively lead and deliver all Sales Associate recruitment​Work with the ASM to ensure that all members of the team receive effective onboarding and ongoing training and education​Actively support and deliver the personal career development opportunities of the store team​
