Junior Sous Chef

We’re looking for a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef ready to step up, take on leadership responsibilities, and deliver exceptional dining experiences in the heart of the Hunter Valley.What you’ll do:Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operationsLead and supervise sections of the kitchen during serviceEnsure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentationAssist with stock control, ordering, and menu developmentMaintain a clean and safe working environment in line with food safety standardsTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff to support team growthExpected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per weekLocation: Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort - 15 Thompsons Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320Salary: $75,000-$80,000 (excluding super)Approved Sponsor: Minor Hotels Australasia Limited (previously known as Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited)
