Together, we support thousands of young people - and their families and friends - through over 145 headspace centres across the country, as well as online and phone counselling, vocational services, and school-based programs.

Your role, your impact

As a Clinical Educator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of mental health professionals. You will:Provide day-to-day supervision, mentoring and support for students on clinical placementDesign, develop and deliver training programs that build student capabilityFacilitate high-quality clinical placements and ensure positive learning outcomesCollaborate with teaching institutions to coordinate placements and assessmentsEngage with internal teams and external partners to strengthen integration and student experienceYour leadership will help students grow in confidence and competence, while directly contributing to better mental health outcomes for young people in our community.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll bring:A youth-friendly, optimistic, and professional approachStrong clinical assessment and intervention skills in youth mental healthProven leadership and mentoring capabilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong organisational skills and resilience

Mandatory qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Social WorkCurrent registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body

What will make you stand outExperience working with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, LGBTIQA+, CALD, and neurodiverse communitiesKnowledge of trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate careExperience in clinical education and supervision aligned with registration requirements
