Sr. Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join our team in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role is crucial to our operations, focused on handling customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions Ensure compliance with banking regulations Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions Maintain knowledge and application of GAAP Accounting principles Generate regulatory reports as required Manage investments in line with company policies and procedures Contribute to banking compliance efforts. Requirements Proficient in GAAP Accounting principles and practices Experience with Financial Analysis and ability to interpret financial data Familiarity with Banking Compliance and Regulation Knowledge of Financial Regulations and their application in accounting practices Expertise in handling Investments and understanding their impact on financial statements Experience in Regulatory Reporting, creating and submitting necessary documentation Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred Several years of proven experience in a similar role.
