Our client, a leader in the financial industry is seeking a Smalltalk Developer to join their team. Analyzing requirements: Understanding business and functional requirements to analyze system and operational impacts
Designing and developing: Designing and developing applications, including web-based front-end applications
Coding and testing: Coding, testing, and debugging software enhancements and new products
Supporting applications: Supporting applications throughout the systems life cycle, including maintenance and implementation
Recommending changes: Recommending changes to software applications, interfaces, processes, and procedures
Working with teams: Working closely with customers, business analysts, and other team members
Following methodologies: Following methodologies such as Agile to ensure development work is completed on time
Promoting stability: Promoting the stability of systems by implementing best practices
What’s Needed?
Hands-on programming / development experience with Smalltalk
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficient experience working cross functionally with various business partners
