IQVIA’s Centralized Outsourcing Operations Hub (COOH) includes Patient Support Services (PSS) across our Access and Affordability business lines. IQVIA’s Access team provides all hub services including reimbursement, patient assistance, adherence, and in-home solution support. Our Affordability solutions not only offer the insights and strategic know-how for designing patient affordability and engagement programs, but also the capacity to seamlessly implement, manage and optimize these programs to drive adherence and maximize the performance.There is an opportunity for seasoned Business Analysts to join our team as we continue to grow to support the PSS business, specifically our Affordability platform.Essential Functions:

Understanding of the different systems and processes used within PSS to support the business and how they work together, and examine impact of new solutions. Broad understanding of PSS operations, systems and processes will enable the BA to ask the appropriate questions

Strong communication and collaboration skills are imperative to work closely with cross-functional teams and clients, including developers and technical resources as new development projects are identified and need to be documented

Consultative approach in client meetings, often leading and providing recommended approaches to achieve the overall program objective

Write business requirements documents and create supporting materials as needed (ex: process flows)

Facilitate discussions, decision-making and conflict resolution

Formulate and define requirements through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business rules and requirements

Knowledge of moderately complex information systems

Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic functionalities as necessary

Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and recognize the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and requirements

Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results

Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications

Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment

Engage with clients and discuss system capabilities as a Subject Matter Expert, review client business rules for accuracy and completeness, and align to client’s objectives

Participation in client discussions related to setting business rules. Act as a liaison across functional teams (Project/Program and Technical) to gather requirements and consult on capabilities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or related field

At least 5 years of business analyst and/or Patient Support Services required

Affordability and/or Copay Experience Required

Strong people skills and ability to positively influence stakeholders to resolve impactful risks and drive decision making

Full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis

Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills

Change management/process analysis skills (e.g., Business Process Reengineering).

Strong communication skills, including ability to present and engage tactfully with clients.

Project management experience in overseeing or contributing to complex, multi-discipline projects.
