Description Our client located in Monmouth County seeks a Staff Accountant. This is a permanent in office opportunity. Responsibilities include:
Prepare and file relevant tax forms and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve financial procedures and reporting.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience.
